Adahalena Ella waterfall near Hikkaduwa

At first we rode along the ocean, so close that the spray of the waves reached us. We passed the Tsunami Museum, the museum of masks, a huge statue of Buddha.
Then we turned inland and there we wound along narrow paths. The views there are just awesome!
We drove up to the jungle, and then we went on foot. Because these are already wild places. You need to make your way along a narrow clay path, wade small streams with refreshing water. Somewhere to climb uphill

And finally I heard the sound of the waterfall! It was filled with rain and now it has become more powerful!
We took a picture of it from below and climbed up over the stones. It really isn't hard to get in there. And at the top there is a surprise - a small lake. It is shallow, cool and so romantic:)
But local guys were already swimming there, so I decided to swim better in the waterfall below
I wish I had a waterfall in my yard. There is probably nothing cooler than swimming in an ice waterfall in the heat. How born again!

On the way back we stopped for lunch, and then to the huge lake Maduganga. It is so large that it merges with the horizon, and it has two islands. Boat safaris are held on this lake. On a safari you can see monitor lizards, various exotic birds, mangroves, flying dogs. And in general - the views are very beautiful. There is also a drop dead long bridge going into the sunset.
In total, our trip took five hours. Here you can lie on the couch for five hours, or you can get a lot of impressions and cool photos :)
