Hiring Reservation Officer

We are looking for the proactive and motivated Reservation Officer B2B/ B2C. Experience in Tourism and Hospitality to join our team.

Position: Reservation Officer
Location: Remote
Working days:

Monday to Friday from 10:00-19:00 (Male time zone)
Saturday half day
Sunday - non-working day
Duties & Responsibilities

- Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate hotels, modes of transportation, costs and accommodation.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Reply to queries and calculate total travel costs as per their request and offer alternatives in case the requested hotels/resorts are fully committed or fully booked.
- Maintain all the personally made bookings and make sure all the services are in order before guest arrival and payments are collected before the due date.
- Deal with occurring travel problems, handling complaints swiftly and update the Superior.
- Provide support to the clients, be reachable over the corporate mobile line and email 24/7.
- Generate “proforma invoice” through the system and follow up the deadlines.
- Work with a reservation system, data entering and maintaining.
- Update partners with special offers, advise on hotel services.
- Maintain a healthy relationship with hotels reservations and sales team.
- Perform daily routine, check to ensure all reservations entered are correct and accurate.
- Participate in office meetings: company team meetings, meetings with hotel’s representatives.
- Achieve the company's sales targets.
- Other relevant duties as assigned by the Management of the company.

Skills & Abilities:

- Bachelor or Master Degree in tourism or any other relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel field (travel company).
- Experience in working with different booking systems.
- Experience in making around 10-20 bookings per day.
- Skills at reservations and sales of tourism products.
- Ability to work with people and deal with stressful situations.
- Strong character, emotionally stable, self-motivated, enthusiastic, creative.
- Good communication skills in order to build close relations with agents and hotel's management.
- Fluent English (speaking and writing).
- Business writing skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Computer skills: Windows, Microsoft Office (excel/word especially), Internet Explorer, Outlook
- Reservations/booking systems.
