1. About the service
Ceylon Anilau provides listings and information about living and travelling in Sri Lanka. The operator is Anilau (Анилау). Contact admin@anilau.com for questions, complaints and requests. Google sign-in identifies the service as Ceylon by Anilau.
We provide a place to publish and find offers. Unless expressly stated in a particular offer made by the operator, we are not the seller, landlord, carrier, employer or a party to a transaction between users. Participants agree availability, price, payment, delivery, returns and other terms directly. The service does not provide escrow or guarantee fulfilment.
2. Accounts and access
You must be at least 18 and have the necessary legal capacity to create an account and publish offers. If acting for an organisation or another person, you confirm that you have authority to do so. Supply accurate information and only contact details you are entitled to use.
Keep your password, email/Google access and API keys secure. Tools you connect act with your account's permissions. Revoke unused keys and report suspected unauthorised access. Google sign-in does not certify a seller or provide a guarantee from Google.
Some actions require a verified email, an eligible account status or moderation. These restrictions are not certification of an offer's quality.
3. Listings and contributions
You are responsible for the legality of an offer, its content, current contact details and rights to texts and images. Disclose material restrictions, actual prices and conditions; do not hide mandatory charges or impersonate others. Obtain any licences or qualifications your activity requires.
Fraud, phishing, malicious code, spam and bulk duplicates are prohibited, as are unlawful goods or services, threats, harassment, discriminatory content, sexual exploitation, disclosure of others' personal information without a lawful basis, infringement of rights, fabricated reviews and rating manipulation.
Do not put secrets, identity documents or sensitive information in public fields. Check which contacts will be visible before publishing. Automatic translations can be inaccurate; authors should review them, especially prices, addresses, restrictions and transaction terms.
4. Content rights
You retain authorship and rights to your materials. By contributing content, you grant the operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce, display, technically format and translate it as needed to operate Ceylon Anilau and present it to users. Technical providers may perform these tasks; this is not permission to sell the content or use it in a separate advertising campaign without agreement.
The permission lasts while the content is available, and on a limited basis after removal for lawful retention and completion of backup deletion under the privacy policy. Search-engine and third-party copies can exist independently of the site. You may not pass off others' work as your own or harvest visitors' contact details for mass messaging.
5. Moderation and complaints
Administrators may review, reject, hide or remove content and restrict accounts for rule violations, infringement of others' rights, legal requirements or justified user-safety risks. Urgent restrictions may precede notice. We do not promise prior review of every listing or review.
Report a violation or challenge a decision through admin@anilau.com. Include the content URL, an explanation and relevant evidence without unnecessary personal information. We review requests and communicate the outcome to the extent permitted by law and others' rights. Publication approval, profile status and reviews do not guarantee the accuracy of an author's claims.
6. Articles, TropiCoins and charges
Ordinary listing publication is free in the current version. If paid features are introduced, prices, terms and payment arrangements will be shown before purchase; these terms do not themselves authorise charges.
User articles are published following a moderation decision. A published article may receive 10–300 TropiCoins based on usefulness; not every submission is guaranteed a reward. TropiCoins are internal points, not money, cryptocurrency or a promise of income. Cash withdrawal, exchange, promotion spending, partner benefits and cross-site transfers are not currently available. Development plans do not create an entitlement to future features or a particular value for points.
7. Transactions and travel information
Before paying, check the offer, the author's authority and relevant documents, and record your agreement. Do not send access codes or payment-card details through listings or messages. Product, rental or service disputes should first be addressed to the relevant counterparty; platform violations may be reported to the operator.
Articles and translations provide general information. They do not replace individual medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Entry rules, prices and travel conditions can change. External websites and services have their own terms.
8. Leaving the service and liability
You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account or data through admin@anilau.com. Disconnecting Google does not itself delete site data. Processing and retention are described in the privacy policy.
Technical interruptions, errors and feature changes can occur. We do not guarantee continuous availability, particular viewing or response figures, or a successful transaction. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law or limits mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.
9. Changes and disputes
New versions are published with an effective date; material changes are communicated through an available channel. Separate acceptance or consent is requested where required. Changes do not remove mandatory rights that have already arisen.
You may first contact the operator at admin@anilau.com about site-related disputes. You retain the right to approach a competent court or authority under applicable law. These terms do not impose a mandatory foreign court or waive lawful remedies. Report differences between language versions for clarification; automatic translation does not override mandatory law.
