150 years old house of the colonial period with mostly antique furniture, together with the architecture of the house gives a special style of this place. Large lounge with TV and sofa, dining area with kitchenette. On the terrace with a beautiful view of the garden you can enjoy breakfast, a coffee or do some work on laptop. There is a place for sports (yoga, volleyball, badminton, horizontal bar), hammocks and outdoor fireplace for barbecue at the garden with palms, fruit trees and flowers. Quiet, cozy place just in 5-7 minutes walk from the one of the best beach in Sri Lanka - Narigama beach.

All rooms are equipped with fans, mosquito repellent, optionally provided with mosquito nets. Most of the rooms have windows overlooking the garden. Four of five rooms with private bathrooms and hot water. Towels and linens are provided. Free wi-fi throughout the house and the verandah. Free drinking water and tea.

Location of our house favorably differs from the coastal zone of the lack of noise from the road and railroad. And also we have largest in Hikkaduwa yard with palm trees and flowers. Inside the house is not hot. All rooms have access to a large common room. This place is great for families with children.

The bus stop is a 5-minute walk away. The beach is just 500 meters away - you will come to the central part, the most suitable for rest. Parking is available on the territory of our yard.

I have had the pleasure of renting this charming villa in Hikkaduwa for several years, both for myself and for my guests. Recently, the management has passed to the owner's son and a dear friend of mine. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking an authentic Sri Lankan experience.

Nestled just a 7-minute stroll from what I consider one of the finest beaches in the area, the villa is surrounded by a lush garden brimming with local flora. You'll find cinnamon trees, mangoes, papaya, and bananas, alongside a rich tapestry of other vegetation. It's not uncommon to see peacocks gracefully roaming the grounds, along with playful local squirrels and occasional visits from varanas.

It's important to appreciate that this house, steeped in character, is not a modern hotel; it has an older, more soulful vibe. The comforts here are of a different kind — less about luxury and more about the warmth and character that I've come to love deeply. This villa isn't just a place to stay; it's a place that stays with you, resonating with the soul of Sri Lanka.
