From 11 to 21 December 2026, BMICH hosts the 42nd Colombo Shopping Festival, a long-running pre-Christmas fair in Colombo. The organiser lists more than 200 exhibitors and four shopping halls, making this closer to a large sales exhibition than an ordinary market.

Visitors can browse clothing, shoes, accessories, cosmetics, electronics, home products, gifts and more. The December programme also includes Christmas deals, festive decorations, a kids’ play area and Meet Santa. It can suit Colombo residents as well as travellers in the city before Christmas.
