The cost of renting a car with a driver in Sri Lanka
Passenger car (up to 3 people *) - $ 55 per day
* - 4 people are possible, but it is not comfortable, we do not recommend

Minivan (up to 6 people) - $65 per day

The price includes the cost of the driver (accommodation and meals), as well as 100 km per day. Mileage in excess of that included in the price is paid separately at the rate of $ 0.35 per 1 km. The calculation is made by subtracting the mileage included in the price from the total for all days of using the service.
The minimum term for the provision of services is 2 days.
The fleet consists of modern and new Toyota, Honda and similar vehicles. All cars are air conditioned.

Why rent a car with a driver and why is it better than just renting a car or driving around the island as part of a tour?
A car with a driver is comfortable. You don't have to get used to driving on the left, which in fact can be even easier than getting used to the crazy driving style in Sri Lanka in general. You won't feel as tired as if you'd spent most of the day behind the wheel. There are no restrictions on alcohol, no stressful situations associated with possible damage to the vehicle.
You will not need to make a license (international ones do not apply in Sri Lanka), delve into the peculiarities of traffic rules and communicate with the police.
The driver can meet you anywhere on the island, and you can also leave the car anywhere, paying only the mileage to Colombo / Negombo
At the cost of a car or a minivan with a driver, on average, it is only 15% more expensive than a rental car. And you will not need to make insurance and leave a deposit. We don't have any hidden fees or commissions.
And if you can choose and book hotels on your own, find information about interesting places on Google or Yandex, find these places on the map yourself, make a route for yourself and you don’t need the help of a guide, then a car with a driver will be an excellent and much more economical alternative to ready-made tours around the island.
